The Radio Activity Kairos repeater is an exceptionally innovative, compact and fully featured professional radio solution. Based on over 9 years experience in developing highly scalable DMR radio network solutions, the Kairos is Radio Activity’s second generation product for DMR. Supporting both analogue and Tier II DMR in a single platform, this product provides the ideal solution for digital migration. Repeaters can be analogue and DMR linked both over IP and over RF narrowband channels, making Kairos the perfect platform for any radio system, from single sites to wide area networks. The exceptionally small, fanless design, also makes the Kairos repeater ideal for solar and battery powered sites.
Kairos is a ‘software defined’ radio which ensures precise matching between repeaters and greater reliability in a compact design. This also allows for a platform that is future proof, enabling the development and addition of new protocols and features via software upgrade.
