PD982 DMR PORTABLE
Feature rich digital two way radio.
Single Frequency Repeater Mode
This feature allows your device to be used, alternatively, as a repeater, enabling your communications to go further. Based on interference cancellation techniques, the PD982 uses one slot to receive a signal, and another to transmit it in the same frequency, while using DMO mode to extend the communication distance.
Longer Battery Life
The all new Smart Battery of the PD982 mean that this two-way radio device can be used even on long shifts, and the user is able to monitor the battery status. Consequently, the PD982 charging time is dramatically decreased.
Advanced Noise Cancellation Technology
Offering an exceptional audio experience, the PD982 boasts new noise cancellation technology, allowing users to hear and speak clearly, even in loud environments.
Hytera XPT (Extended Pseudo Trunking) enables you to use limited spectrum resources more efficiently, dynamically assigning channel resource without needing a dedicated control channel.
FULL DUPLEX CALLS
Have a conversation on a call rather than a classic one-way transmission (DMR Tier III mode only).
Record your transmission and call data for future analysis. Requires micro SD card and separate application for playback, chargeable licence.
Using pseudo-trunking, a Hytera patented technology, slots can be shared to improve capacity usage with transmissions either direct to handset or to repeater.
Optional (external adapter accessory), wireless connectivity to audio devices to improve user experience.
Optional (GMD version only), enabling location based services to improve safety and control.
Optional (GMD version only), this feature will let you know if the radio has been tilted past a certain angle. This may happen for instance if the radio user has fallen over or is unconscious or injured. The alarm will be triggered after a warning is issued to the user.
Raise an alarm with top priority to a base station or to other radios with the pre-programmed emergency mode, identifying the ID of the person issuing the alarm.
The Lone Worker feature uses a timer in the radio to measure inactivity. If the timer expires, a warning is issued, and if there is no response to that, the alarm is triggered.
SINGLE FREQUENCY REPEATER
Utilise your PD982 radio as a repeater to improve coverage across your site (chargeable licence).
